Traveling can be one of the greatest experiences in the world. I got the bug a few years back and have been heading out as much as possible ever since. I guess it really started with the trip in 2000.
Bali-Java-Malaysia-Thailand. I was so impressed with it all I was ready for another. Didn't make it back till 2002 with a trip to Cambodia and Bangkok.
Did a short Cancun trip in 2001 inbetween. Cambodia is amazing and I can't wait to get back there.
2003 brought on the Thaipusam Festival in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Hit Singapore too.
Did a short cruise to Mexico and Belize also.
2004 has brought on Laos and NE Thailand which was incredible.
Mom took the job as my travel partner for a great Thailand and Cambodia 17 day excursion in July 2005.
March 2006 brought on the Eastern Islands of Indonesia. Komodo, Rinca, Lombok, Flores and Bali.
Nepal came and went so fast in Oct-Nov 08. I would love to go back and stay a while longer. Beautiful place.

Past Notes...

Nov 2008 - Back from Nepal and trying to figure out how to save $ for my next trip...

March 2007 - Cruise with mom to Italy, Greece and Turkey.

March 2006 - Back from Indonesia. What an incredible trip. Saw most of Flores island along with visits to Komodo island as well as Rinca island twice. Spent days on a boat traveling between Flores and Lombok with stops along the way. Read about it here plus lots of pictures to enjoy! Special page about my guide on Flores.

Oct 2005: Indonesia here I come again. Heading out early March for 25 days to the Eastern Islands of Indonesia. Plan is to spend most of the time between Flores and Sumba islands with a brief stopover to Komodo or Rinca Island. Can't wait for this one. Should prove to be quite interesting and even maybe a bit of a challenge.

August 2005: Had a great time in Cambodia and Thailand last month. Spent the first few days in Bangkok. Marking my fourth visit there. Did the usual Wat Po and Grand Palace, Chinatown, Sukhumvit Shopping, PatPong, NaNa, short river klongs tour, rode the river taxi all the way from end to end which was awesome and cheap, Weekend market, snake farm. Mom had a great time.
