Excellent resturant and good prices. We paid 65,000rp for double room with shower, fan, great balcony, and western toilet. Toilet paper and soap provided as well as towels. I highly reccomend this place. The staff was also very helpful and friendly

Cemorolawang Indonesia (on Java)
Lava Lodge (0335)541020 or 541009...This is the place where one stays the night before climbing up to Mt Bromo. Very small town and it is the closest to the start of the trail. We left the hotel at 4:30am and walked by ourselves with no problems. Try not to get stuck here as there isn't much else to do. You should get the driver who takes you up to Cemorolawang to come back the next day around noon to get you back to Probolinggo for transit onward.
